Elder Abuse Prevention Ontario provides a variety of training and education opportunities, including education presentations to older adults, training for service provider agencies and provincial webinars. We offer sessions upon request throughout the year. EAPO is currently providing virtual sessions while the Public Health Authority and provincial restrictions related to COVID-19 are in effect.

 
EAPO’s experienced staff deliver customized training and education sessions to all sectors and communities across the province. Our staff will customize presentations to meet the learning goals of your agency, organization or community group to increase awareness and knowledge to recognize, prevent, intervene, and report elder abuse.
 
EAPO’s training sessions are designed for groups of 10 or more participants. If the registration attendance is not satisfactory, we may choose to cancel the session.  Please note that submitting a request does not guarantee that the request will be approved. Presentation requests will be fulfilled at the discretion and availability of EAPO staff.
 
Training requests must be submitted at least 2 weeks in advance of the date requested. After submitting your request, a staff trainer will  follow-up with a phone and/or email, prior to booking, to finalize details including date, time, and delivery platform.
