To assist you in optimizing EAPO's training, please check the topics you would like covered and we will work with you to arrange the appropriate presentations and time frames to cover these materials. If more than one topic is chosen, EAPO can create a SERIES of workshops/sessions over a specified period of time.

It's Not Right Neighbours, Friends and Family - Program

The It's Not Right Neighbours, Friends and Family (INR) program is structured to empower individuals to become Champions for social change. Individuals can participate in an INR Training Workshop to be qualified to educate others in the community on elder abuse. The INR program includes video case scenarios to illustrate various forms of elder abuse.

If you requested an INR Presentation, please indicate the issue(s) to be addressed during the session. Video scenarios accompanied these education sessions.

Tea & Talk Workshops

The Tea & Talk workshop series include topics related to issues pertaining to elder abuse prevention and promoting well-being of older adults. Each topic is accompanied by a specific education session that includes interactive activities to engage participants in starting the conversation. Please choose from the topic(s) listed below:

EAPO offers an education/training on various issues pertaining to elder abuse. EAPO offers the option to schedule a "SERIES" of Sessions/Workshops to cover topics of interest to your staff and/or members of your organization.

Section E: Evaluation

All presentation sessions/workshops include an evaluation process, to assist EAPO in building quality sessions for community stakeholders and partners. An evaluation will follow each presentation and will be conducted in the most expeditious format (survey monkey/emailed summary forms to be returned by organizer).

Section E: Administration

EAPO may opt to charge participants a modest fee to cover incidentals and staff time for preparation and delivery of training. An invoice will be sent prior to the session, with settlement of the account to be paid prior to the presentation.

Non-Profit Fee: Honorarium to cover any speaker costs.
