Response to Elder Abuse Prevention Awareness Coalition Renfrew County
Mission Statement/Mandate
REAPAC’s purpose is to build capacity to both prevent and respond to the abuse of older adults in Renfrew County. This is accomplished through formal connection and the sharing of information, development of educational tools, public education and the review of complex elder abuse cases.
Working with member agencies and invited guests from Renfrew County, case reviews provide both peer review and alternative options to service providers. Options suggested focus on promoting the older adult’s right to self-determination.
