Jean-Guy Fréchette is Principal Partner at Ursa Group/Grande-Ourse Consultation inc. With over 20 years of experience in politics, public administration, and the private sector, Jean-Guy is a trusted expert in public policy, government relations, and stakeholder engagement. He is known for his ability to simplify complex issues, navigate municipal, provincial, and federal bureaucracies, and foster productive relationships with decision-makers.

As a valued ally to NGOs, he, helps them drive change, secure resources, and reflect community priorities. His career spans executive roles in public affairs, as well as key leadership positions with the Ministries of Education, and Colleges and Universities, the Indigenous Institutes Consortium, and Algonquin College.
Jean-Guy holds a Bachelor's Degree in Semiotics and a Master's Degree in Education from the University of Toronto. Based in Canada’s National Capital Region, he continues to empower clients with strategies to influence public policy and achieve meaningful results.
