Dr. Belfry, is a licensed Clinical Neuropsychologist and Psychologist in Ontario, having completed her doctoral degree in Counselling Psychology (University of Toronto) specializing in working with adults, seniors and couples. She holds a Diploma in Art Therapy and has completed an APA accredited doctoral internship, in Adult and Geriatric Neuropsychological Assessment and Treatment and later, a Post-Doctoral Fellowship with the Memory Link program, both at Baycrest Hospital. During her career, Sandra has developed a specialized program to improve the quality of life for seniors with severe mental health and neurodegenerative conditions residing in the City of Toronto’s Homes for the Aged. Currently, she provides psychological services for adults, couples and seniors. She provides services within the SVA Healthy Aging & Dementia Clinic which addresses community-based referrals identifying specialized Neuropsychological service needs for seniors. Dr. Belfry sits on the Alzheimer Society of Brant Haldimand Norfolk Hamilton and Halton Boards, as well as the Quality Committee for the collective group of Alzheimer Societies in Ontario.
