Join EAPON and Egale Canada to hear about the experiences of 2SLGBTQI people living with dementia and what we can do to make more inclusive dementia care for all. Participants will learn about Egale’s dementia-related research and resources as well as Egale’s awareness campaign – Help Us Remain: Bring Care for Identity to Care For Dementia.

AJ Adams (He/Him)

Manager, Communications, Egale Canada

AJ Adams (he/him) is a communications professional and social change advocate with a passion for 2SLGBTQI and social issues.

With over a decade of experience, his career involves extensive experience in nonprofit and public sector communications, advocacy and political organizing. AJ spent a large portion of his career working within the seniors, dementia and healthcare sectors – including three years as the Communications Officer at the Ontario Centres for Learning, Research and Innovation in Long-Term Care.

He holds a Diploma in Public Relations and a Bachelor of Arts in Community Leadership and Equity, Diversity & Human Rights, and now works the Manager of Communications at Egale Canada – Canada’s leading organization on 2SLGBTQI issues and people.
