Moving Forward with UN Convention on the Rights of Older Persons
EAPO in partnership with CNPEA, ILC and GAROP provided an informative session with updates on the work of the UN Open Ended Working Group on Ageing (OEWGA14) including the historic decision on April 3rd, 2025 by the 58th Human Rights Council in Geneva to start drafting a UN convention on the rights of older persons, a legally binding instrument.
With this new chapter, we begin building a world where everyone can live and age with the dignity and respect they deserve.
