HelpAge Canada introduced a new research, engagement and outreach project aimed at enhancing economic security for older women.

With November marking Financial Literacy Month, we are reminded that financial well-being is a critical part of healthy and equitable ageing. Many older women and gender-diverse adults face lifelong economic disparities due to unequal access to education, employment, caregiving responsibilities, and systemic barriers.

This session is to provided information and invite CBSS agencies to support this project that aims to better understand the challenges older women face, particularly those who are racialized, immigrant, Indigenous, LGBTQ+, or living on low income.
