Elder Abuse Prevention Ontario partnered with the Competition Bureau of Canada and Consumer Protection Ontario to inform consumers on what constitutes unfair, misleading, or deceptive marketing practices, and provided participants with the knowledge and tools to spot deceptive or unfair marketing tactics targeted toward older adults, as well as who to report it to and how.
